  1. Good work Ben, I was genuinely impressed.

  2. Bravo! The ex-cop seemed to come straight out of Central Casting, possibly from an old episode of "The Sweeney"! :-)

  3. I'm gobsmacked this cop was put in charge of people on the witness protection programme. Given we know from the Leveson Inquiry (Brian Paddick's evidence) that certain people's protected identities were compromised (including the identity of Jon Venables's co-defendant), I think putting your faith in the Met as a protected witness is like trusting Bernie Madoff to protect your retirement fund.

  4. Well done Ben. I have had to live under an assumed identity for 7 years (not for committing a crime, for 'informing'. it is hard to cope with a new ID living in a different part of the UK from loved ones. Whilst JV committed some horrific crimes, he has the right to be protected from vigilante mobs just as we have the right to deny him his liberty if he re-offends.
